Beneficent's first single 'Songs From A Bedsit', written and recorded in 1998, features guest vocalist Angela Visser and myself singing:

They were recorded at River Studios, Bermondsey and the engineer was Kevin Stokes. I wrote and performed them all using my Yamaha PSR77 keyboard and recorded them over two days with Angela. She sings very sweetly with an American accent on 'You're Telling Me Boy' and I join her on 'Wet Kisses' and 'She Will'.
